The calendar says ‘SUMMER!’ but your look says ‘winter blah’.  Not to worry, here a few ways to get the sizzling summer look you want from head to toe.  These easy tricks will make getting ready everyday so simple and you’ll look stunning even during the dog days of summer.

Summer is the perfect time to get bangs, maybe cut off a few inches or even go crazy with color.  Give the blowdryer a rest, sexy beach hair is ‘IN’!  You don’t need to live near the beach to get it. Instead of spending time perfecting your blowout, why not air dy and wear your hair wavy or curly.  No need to use hairspray or gel - just wash, tousle and go.

Next up - Hair Removal.  Thats right start at the top and work your way down - remove it ALL, underarms, legs, and other areas (you know what I’m talking about, wink)

With lots of sunshine streaming into your home, now is the perfect time, be sure to start by waxing, threading or plucking your eyebrows.  Lots of natural light make getting those stray hairs a breeze. 

Baring all in pretty tank tops will be a breeze with the hair removed from your underarms.  While in the shower be sure to do a bit of shaving, doing it often also exfoliates the skin.   Don’t forget ladies smooth legs=sexy legs.  Pick your preference, be it shaving, waxing or depilatory - as long as its gone.  Now that we’re all wearing shorts and beautiful skirts,  smooth bare legs is the perfect accessory.

Thirdly, take care of the skin you’re in.  I start from the inside out.  Jump in on the water challenge, that Jia has listed on the Living Naturally page  Drinking the right amount of water clears your skin, stops breakouts and gives you a natural glow. 

This is also the best time to exfoliate.  Use a brush, loofah, sugar or salt scrub to rid yourself of dry dead skin.  My favorite scrub is Fresh Brown Sugar Polish.  It leaves my skin feeling soft and sexy.  You can also make your own sugar scrub.

Lastly, my personal favorite.

Get a pedicure or better yet, give yourself a pedicure.  I give myself a pedicure every two weeks.  I can’t always afford to go to the salon so I do-it-myself.  Here are some great tips for you to do the same.  The cost of nailpolish remover, nailfiles, nailpolish and a pumice is very low, compared to the amount of time that you’ll use them.  I love looking at my pretty pedicured tootsies in cute sandals or in flip-flops.  I like to go for brighter colors in the summer, pretty pinks and cool corals are my favorite.
