Spring and summer always bring out the nautical, preppy-cool look for guys. It’s no different this year. We are seeing polo shirts, long shorts, flip flops and aviator glasses everywhere! For those guys that are really cool, you’ll want to top it all of with a driving cap! Very Hot!

Look for polo shirts in a variety of colors from brights to navy. The shirt should be fitted, not big and sloppy.

Which shorts cost more? Can you tell?

The one on the left is from J.Crew and cost $65. The one in the middle is from Walmart and cost $16. The one to the right is from Neiman Marcus and cost $120.

Q: My 9 year old daughter has oily hair. I try and only bathe the girls every other day, but with her, it has to be every day because her hair just gets gross! Is there any product geared towards kids with oily hair?

A: Surprisingly, the answer is to wash her hair less. Wash her hair once a week until the pH balance is corrected. This could take up to 3 weeks.

Until then, you can use hair powders in between washing. Just sprinkle the powder on your hands and rub it through your daughters hair to refresh it.

Also, change to a healthy diet and try to reduce combing and brushing her hair as it stimulates oil product.

You’ve seen Dana’s (Happy Housewives Club Manager) cry for help on the forums regarding her hair. It was actually quite entertaining the way she wrote it! But it is no laughing matter when your hair is damaged and you loathe dealing with it. Dana explains her journey to “french fried hair”. Here is Dana with Healthy Hair. It’s naturally curly and light brown.

Dana goes back to her natural blond. Look at the gorgeous curls! Love them!

Dana goes even lighter and decides to get a perm! This is when the damage sets in. First, the lighter blond can cause a lot of drying. Apply a perm on top of it and you’ve got major damage.

In attempt to revive her hair, Dana cuts off 3 inches and goes darker.
